Privacy Principles of Arvela

Arvela is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy completely:

Zero Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage metrics, or photos.
100% On-Device Processing: Scanning, thumbnail generation, and database indexing are performed entirely on your local Mac.
Zero Network Communication: Arvela has no network entitlements and makes zero internet requests.
Strict Read-Only Guarantee: Your original files are never altered, moved, renamed, or deleted.
No Accounts or Tracking: No registration, no ads, no subscriptions, and no analytics SDKs.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Arvela does not collect any data from your device. Specifically:

Photos & Metadata: Your photo files, EXIF tags, directory names, and file paths never leave your local storage.
Personal Identifiers: The app does not ask for or collect names, email addresses, device IDs, or IP addresses.
Usage Analytics: There are no third-party tracking, advertising, or telemetry frameworks embedded in Arvela.

2. Local Storage & macOS App Sandbox

Arvela operates strictly inside Apple's App Sandbox environment on macOS. Its security entitlements are strictly limited:

com.apple.security.app-sandbox: Confines the app to its designated sandbox container.
com.apple.security.files.user-selected.read-only: Grants read-only access exclusively to the folders you choose via the file picker.
com.apple.security.files.bookmarks.app-scope: Saves security-scoped bookmarks locally so you can browse the same folders upon reopening the app.

3. Required Reason API Disclosures

In accordance with Apple App Store policies, Arvela declares the following API usage in its PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest:

UserDefaults (CA92.1)

Used strictly for persisting local user interface settings (such as window tab bar visibility preferences).

File Timestamp (3B52.1 / C617.1)

Used solely to read photo creation and modification timestamps for timeline grouping and incremental change detection.

4. Zero Network Requests

Arvela has no outgoing or incoming network access capabilities. It functions entirely without an active internet connection.

macOSアプリケーション「Arvela」は、ユーザーの完全なプライバシー保護を大前提として開発されています：

データ収集ゼロ: 個人情報、写真データ、利用状況などを一切収集・外部送信・保存しません。
100%端末内（ローカル）処理: スキャン、サムネイル生成、検索インデックス作成はすべてお使いのMac内のみで行われます。
外部通信なし: アプリにネットワーク通信権限はなく、インターネット接続を行いません。
元写真の完全保護: 元写真ファイルは厳格な読み取り専用（Read-Only）でアクセスされ、改変や削除は行いません。
アカウント・追跡なし: ユーザー登録、広告、サブスクリプション、解析SDKは一切ありません。

1. 収集しない情報について

Arvela はユーザーに関するデータを一切収集しません。具体的には：

写真とメタデータ: 写真ファイル本体、EXIFメタデータ、フォルダー名、ファイルパスはお使いのMac内のみに留まります。
個人識別情報: 氏名、メールアドレス、端末識別子、位置情報などを取得・保存することはありません。
トラッキング・解析: アプリ内にサードパーティ製の広告SDKやトラッキングライブラリは一切含まれていません。

2. ローカル処理と App Sandbox（サンドボックス）

Arvela は Mac App Store のセキュリティ基準に従い、Apple の App Sandbox 環境下で厳格に保護されて動作します。保持する権限は以下の最小限のみです：

com.apple.security.app-sandbox: アプリが許可されていないシステム領域へアクセスすることを制限します。
com.apple.security.files.user-selected.read-only: ユーザーが明示的に選択したフォルダーのみに、読み取り専用でアクセスします。元写真の改変・削除は行えません。
com.apple.security.files.bookmarks.app-scope: 次回起動時にも再度アクセスできるようにするためのブックマークを端末内にのみ保持します。

3. Required Reason API（利用理由宣言）

Apple の App Store ガイドラインに基づき、PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy にて以下のAPI利用理由を明告しています：

UserDefaults (CA92.1)

ウィンドウのタブバー表示状態など、アプリ自身のUI表示設定を端末内に保持するためにのみ使用します。

File Timestamp (3B52.1 / C617.1)

ユーザーが選択した写真の作成日時・更新日時を取得し、日付別タイムライン表示や差分スキャンの検出を行うためにのみ使用します。

4. ネットワーク通信について

Arvela はネットワーク通信権限を持たず、インターネットへの接続やデータの外部送信を行いません。完全なオフライン環境でもすべての機能が動作します。
